Lake SonomaInformation visitor guide to Lake Sonoma boat rentals, tours, watercraft, and jet skis at the lake.  This beautiful location is a reservoir west of Healdsburg in northern Sonoma County, California, created by the construction of Warm Springs Dam.  The access is from U.S. Route 101 is by way of Dry Creek Road from Healdsburg. The lake provides water for local communities development, and for recreation water sport leisure.   At full capacity, it has 50 miles of shoreline; activities include boating, biking, lessons, swimming, fishing, riding, rentals, waverunners, flyboard, hiking, camping.

Lake Sonoma was completed in 1982 and has been a popular reservoir for locals and travelers ever since.  The dam aids in flood control, and a hydroelectric plant produces electricity from the water released downstream.  A minimum amount of flow must be maintained in Dry Creek to allow fish migration which is enjoyable on the lake or in the river. Rental services are offered at all marinas and launch ramps.  We do require advance reservation in order to accommodate your requests.
