Information on Twin Lakes boat rentals, jet skis, water sports, and lake tour services at the two adjacent alpine lakes separated by a narrow strip of land less than 100 feet wide in Blaine County, Idaho. Located in the Sawtooth Mountains in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area which allows water skiing, tubing, wakesurfing, kneeboarding, waverunners and more.
The lakes eventually flow into the Salmon River and the area provides good fishing. The Twin Lakes are in the Sawtooth Wilderness, and a wilderness permit can be obtained at a registration box at trail heads or wilderness boundaries. The lakes are just upstream of Alice Lake and several miles upstream of Pettit Lake.
