Glendo Reservoir

Visitors guide to Glendo Reservoir boat rentals and watercraft services located on the North Platte River in Platte County and Converse County in the State of Wyoming.  The lake is formed by Glendo Dam which is an earth-fill dam and 2,096 feet long and 190 feet high.  The reservoir retains a the water used primarily for irrigation and flood control to the local communities.  The reservoir is popular for water sports, jet skis, waverunners, wakeboarding, water skiing, wakesurfing, kneeboarding, wakeskating, tubing, camping, and fishing.  It is located completely within Glendo State Park and Hall's marina and launch ramp reservation for watercraft rentals must be made in advance.
