It was formed as a logging town in 1907 and is a quite little place to enjoy camping, hiking, animal watching, and boating. Fun water sports include; wakeboarding, water skiing, waverunners, wakesurfing, kneeboarding, air chair, slalom skiing, fishing, wake skating, and stand up paddle boarding.
