Lake Mohave is comparatively narrow, not more than 4 miles across at its widest point.
Lake Mohave is confined for most of its length between the steep walls of Pyramid, Painted, Eldorado and Black canyons. Lake Mohave, behind Davis Dam, is part of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area administered by the National Park Service.
