The State Park covers 489 acres with a lot of waterfront on Lake Wenatchee and the Wenatchee River. This lake is a glacier and snow-melt fed lake situated in the Wenatchee National Forest on the eastern slopes of the Cascades Mountain Range in the U. S. State of Washington. It is split into two parts, the North Shore and South Shore state parks, separated by the Wenatchee River. The lake covers 2,480 acres and reaches a depth of 245 feet when full. The beautiful park offers camping and a variety of fresh water activities, including fishing, water skiing, white-water kayaking, windsurfing, swimming, and facilities to launch motorboats and personal water crafts. There are areas for rock climbing and camping. Also, the park offers a large system of trails open to hikers and equestrian riders. In the winter months the park is used for cross-country skiing, snow showing, dog sledding, snowmobiling, and ice climbing. Lake Wenatchee State Airport, and Cove Resort is an unimproved grass and dirt landing strip is located nearby with other amenities and accommodations available.

Lake Sammamish history is a freshwater lake located east of Seattle in King County, WA. The lake is approximately 8 miles long and 1.4 miles wide, with a maximum depth of 105 feet and a surface area of 8 sq miles. It lies east of Lake Washington and west of the Sammamish Plateau, and stretches from Issaquah in the south to Redmond in the north. Enjoy during the summer month for vacationers around the world and local communities. At Issaquah it is fed by Issaquah Creek, and at Redmond it drains to Lake Washington via the Sammamish River. The 98 square miles Lake Sammamish watershed stretches from Redmond through Bellevue, and Issaquah to Preston and Hobart, and consists of numerous creeks which flow into the lake.

The lakes name means deep water. Fed by streams from the Cascade Range, Lake Chelan has maximum depth of 1,486 feet, making it the third deepest lake in the country and the 25th deepest in the world. The city of Chelan sits at the southeast tip of the lake, where its water flows into the Chelan River through the hydroelectric Lake Chelan Dam. At the northwest end of the lake is the town of Stehekin, where the town's namesake river, the Stehekin River, flows into the lake. The Stehekin is the lake's largest inflow stream. Access to the far end of the lake is limited to boat, float plane, or hiking. Lake Chelan State Park lies along the southern shore of the lake, and can be accessed from the city of Chelan by road; there are so many enjoyable activities in and around the lake with it's beautiful scenery in the Lake Chelan National Recreation Area.
